How is the procedure performed?Permanent makeup procedures are performed using machine and hand methods. The process includes an initial consultation, then application of pigment, and a follow up visit for adjusting the shape and color or density of the pigment.
Is permanent makeup really permanent?Permanent makeup procedures are considered permanent because the color is implanted in the dermal layer of the skin and cannot be washed off. However, like all tattoos, fading can and does occur, so periodic color refreshing is needed.
How long does each procedure take?The initial procedure will generally take up to 2½ hours. Touch-up procedures will take less time.

*(Note: It is recommended to have "maintenance" or "color boost" procedure once a year in order to maintain fresh-looking lip color. Waiting too long may result in another "new" lip procedure, rather than a "color boost" procedure and require two (2) applications of color, rather than just one (1)).

Costs include consultation visit and post-procedure follow up visit. Applications are completed in one session plus follow-up. Additional touch-ups will be discussed with the aethetician and cost will be determined at that time.

Are permanent makeup procedures painful?Most people experience some discomfort. This may vary according to each individual's pain threshold. However, topical anesthetic ointments are used to help with discomfort.
Is permanent makeup safe?We follow the proper sterilization and sanitary guidelines to ensure the permanent makeup application is completely safe.
Are there any after or side effects?Generally, there is some swelling of the treated area. While eyebrows may show little after effect, eyeliner and lips may show more and swelling may last up to two to three days. During the procedure there may be some bleeding and or bruising. There is usually some tenderness for a few days. The color is much darker than you may expect for the first six to 10 days.
A consultation fee of $50 is due at the time of the consultation appointment. This fee is credited towards the cost of the consulted procedure.
A credit card is required to hold an appointment. A $100 deposit will be required to schedule an appointment for a procedure. Rescheduling an appointment requires a 24 hour notice (no exceptions). If less than a 24 hour notice is given, or if an appointment is a "no-show", a $100 fee will be charged. The $100 deposit will be applied toward any procedure of choice.
One follow-up visit must be scheduled within 4 weeks. If a touchup is required, it will be done for a minimal fee to cover costs of anesthetics and needles. If a follow-up appointment is missed, that visit will be forfeited and will result in a charge for additional follow-up visits.
